Introduction

Syed Danish Yaseen Naqvi, obtained a degree of M.Sc & Ph.D in Plant Pathology (Mycology) with the specialization of Bio-pesticides from Sam Higginbottom University of Agriculture, Technology & Sciences, Allahabad, India in 2006 & 2010 respectively. I have joined as an Assistant Professor (Mycologist) in December 2010 in the Department of Plant Protection, Hamelmalo Agricultural College, Keren, Eritrea. I have teaching and research experience more than ten years, also served as Head of Department of Plant Protection from 2013 up to 2018. To my credit, more than 30 research articles on ‘bio-pesticide formulations’, ‘management of major diseases and insect pests on major field crops, vegetables and fruits’ through Bio-control agents and botanical pesticides, ‘mycoflora’ and ‘incidence of diseases in various crops in Eritrea’ have been published in well reputed journals.
